The characteristic values of water and sediment at the hydrological control stations of the Yalong River, Minjiang River, Jialing River, Wujiang River and Hanjiang River, the main tributaries of the Yangtze River, in 2021, compared with the annual average value, the annual runoff at Beibei station, Wulong station and Huangzhuang station of the Jialing River is larger by 7% ~ 67%, and Tongzilin station and Minjiang high station of the Yalong River are smaller by 7% and 4% respectively; The annual sediment discharge of each station is 38% ~ 88% smaller.
Compared with the annual average value of the main hydrological control stations in Dongting Lake area in 2021, the annual runoff of Zishui Taojiang station, Yuanshui Taoyuan station and Lishui Shimen station is 3% ~ 18% larger, and the rest stations are 6% ~ 90% smaller; The annual sediment discharge of each station is small by 69% ~ nearly 100%.
Compared with the annual average value of the main hydrological control stations in Poyang Lake area in 2021, the annual runoff at Meigang station, Hushan station and Fengkeng station of Raohe River is larger by 5% ~ 24% and that at other stations is smaller by 1% ~ 29%; The annual sediment discharge of Raohe Hushan station is 143% larger, and that of other stations is 18% ~ 85% smaller.
In 2021, the river reach in the main urban area of Chongqing will generally show siltation, and the Three Gorges reservoir, Danjiangkou reservoir and Wudongde reservoir will generally show siltation.
